My name is John Fabian. For the past 18 years of my life I have resided along the shores of Lake Erie and it's tributaries. Some may think that I am young but  my knowledge is not at all limited, but my experience is that of someone who has been fishing for over 30 years. Out of season I am a tournament bass fisherman who is sponsored by Ranger Boats, Shimano reels, and Warrior Rods. I have 2 state titles and 1 Northern divisional title under my belt. My home river is the Grand, and I spend at least 3 days a week chasing steelhead on "the big water" as some people call it. As a person I am relaxed, open for discussion and I like to have a good time. I believe that a day of fishing is more then just counting the numbers of fish you hooked, but it should be a memorable experience. As your guide my goal is to is to make your outing successful by any means necessary. I will do my best to put you on the fish by whichever technique you wish. I specialize in fishing with both Center pin/float fishing techniques and the art of Spey fishing.
